Heath Ledger spielt ja bekanntlich den Joker in Dark Knight, der Fortsetzung von Batman Begins.

Da bin ich mal gespannt ob der Joker endlich wirklich als der Psychopath dargestellt wird, der er in den Comics war. Es besteht Grund zur Hoffnung, zumindest lässt Heath Ledger folgendes im Interview mit dem englischen Empire Magazine verlauten:

“He’s just an absolute sociopath, a cold-blooded, mass-murdering clown, and Chris has just given me free rein. Which is fun because there’s no real boundaries to what the Joker would say or do. Nothing intimidates him, and everything is a big joke. I think we all have that in us.”

Und auch Michael Caine scheint beeindruckt:

“Heath Ledger stunned me. Heath plays him like an absolutely maniacal murderous psychopath. You have never seen anything like it in your life. He is very, //very// scary. Wait until you see it, it’s incredible.”
